Divers continued searching Friday for aircraft components in the Potomac River and prepared to salvage the plane from the water, according to Washington, D.C.'s Fire and EMS Department. Emergency crews are also looking for the bodies of the roughly two dozen people still unaccounted for. They were expected to search amid rainy and foggy weather.
The National Transportation Safety Board said Thursday night it found the cockpit voice recorder and flight-data recorder from the American Airlines plane, but the helicopter recorder hadn't so far been recovered.
