President Trump continues to be briefed on the crash by his cabinet officials and the National Transportation Safety Board, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told a news briefing Friday. She repeated the president's stance against diversity, equity and inclusion programs at the Federal Aviation Administration, reiterated his social-media post that the military helicopter involved was flying too high and mentioned his directive to review decisions made at the FAA during the Biden administration.
Leavitt said she wouldn't confirm the identities Friday of the helicopter pilots and air-traffic controllers working at the time of the crash.
