Sarytogan Graphite (ASX:SGA) said an exploration review at the Baynazar copper exploration project in Kazakhstan identified three new anomalies at the Aminbay target, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The company identified metal zonation and aeromagnetic features consistent with the possible presence of porphyry, the filing said. The review also confirmed previous results at the Ilken target.

Soil sampling will be infilled across the anomalies identified and extended ahead of planning drilling at these targets, according to the firm's managing director, Sean Gregory.

The firm's shares rose past 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
