Cigna to Roll Out Multi-Year Initiative Linking Executive Pay to Customer Satisfaction

Cigna Group (CI) said Monday it is rolling out a new multi-year initiative to enhance its clients' health and the value it offers.

The health insurer said it will tie its executives' pay to customer satisfaction. Under the new measures, the company will streamline access to care for its customers by making the process "simpler, easier and faster", while it will also adopt governance procedures to improve accountability, it added.

Cigna said it will start publishing an annual customer transparency report from early next year.

The company's new Office of Excellence and Transformation will govern the initiatives, which will be overseen by Chief Health Officer David Brailer, Cigna said.
