据央视新闻报道，当天14时35分左右，一架由美国底特律飞往东京羽田机场的美国达美航空公司客机（航班号：DL275，机型：空客A350-900），在飞行途中机上相关设备显示飞机前端起落架左轮胎气压不足，飞机宣布进入紧急状况。在经过约3小时后，该客机在羽田机场降落，机上乘客和机组人员共计166人均未受伤。
受事件影响，羽田机场的一条跑道一度临时关闭，7架次起降航班受到影响。
