E.l.f. Beauty, Mattel, Helen Troy Still Have Large China Exposure -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
04 Feb

1307 ET - E.l.f. Beauty, Mattel and Helen of Troy are among the companies that will be most affected by President Donald Trump's new tariffs, despite their efforts to reduce their China sourcing, DA Davidson analyst Linda Bolton Weiser says in a reseach note. Consumer-products company Helen of Troy has sized its China exposure, but there's Mexico exposure as well, and E.l.f. still produces around 80% of its cosmetics products in China. The Asian giant also represents around 40% of Mattel's sourcing, Bolton Weiser adds. E.l.f. trades 4.6% lower, with Mattel and Helen of Troy's stocks down 4.7% and 3.8%, respectively.
