Peninsula Energy (ASX:PEN) and its US subsidiary, Strata Energy, said regulatory inspections and commissioning of the central processing plant at the Lance uranium project in Wyoming are scheduled for the June quarter, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company had previously forecasted the completion of the project and commissioning of the first drying unit by the end of the March quarter, but faced delays due to weather conditions and supply chain issues, the filing said.
Production of the first dry yellowcake is also expected in the June quarter, according to the filing.
The company plans to update the production guidance for the full year by the end of the March quarter, potentially lowering it from the previous forecast of 600,000 pounds of uranium concentrate.
