香港黄金交易所周一(3日)举行新春开市仪式，主席张德熙表示，成立香港黄金交易所是承传金银业贸易场的历史任务，该交易所日后将加强优化企业管治，估计可更容易吸纳国际机构参与。
张德熙提及，香港黄金交易所已全面电子化，会配合港府在恶劣天气下继续买卖成交的要求，实行“打风不停市”。
张德熙指出，金价受地缘政治、息口下降趋势、贸易战等因素影响，预计蛇年很大机会挑战每盎司3,000美元，形容现时金价仍“高处未算高”。他亦预计，全球实物黄金交易量将上升30%；至于香港将上升10%至15%。
财经事务及库务局副局长陈浩濂表示，香港经济正处于结构调整过程，加上全球政经环境复杂多变，预期2025年将会是挑战与机遇并存的一年。
陈浩濂补充，香港只要发挥超级联系人及超级增值人的角色，其机遇定必大于挑战。港府一方面会巩固提升传统优势，勇于改革、敢于创新，为金融服务业注入新动能。同时亦会以创科为新经济动能，为本港人工智能、数据科技、金融科技等范畴构建蓬勃生态圈。(js/da)
