Sigma Healthcare (ASX:SIG) said Australia's Federal Court approved its acquisition of a 100% stake in CW Group Holdings, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
CW Group Holdings, which operates Chemist Warehouse, is expected to lodge a copy of the court's orders with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission on Tuesday.
The acquisition is expected to be implemented on Feb. 12. CW Group shareholders will receive consideration under the acquisition scheme on the same day.
New shares of Sigma issued under the acquisition are expected to start trading on Feb. 13.
Sigma Healthcare's shares fell nearly 2% in recent trading on Monday.
