美国司法部就HPE慧与拟以140亿美元收购Juniper瞻博网络提起诉讼
2 月 1 日消息，美国司法部当地时间 1 月 30 日宣布针对 HPE 慧与拟以 140 亿美元（IT之家备注：当前约 1020.01 亿元人民币）收购 Juniper Networks 瞻博网络一案向加利福尼亚州北区联邦地区法院提起诉讼，希望阻止这笔交易。
美国司法部认为这笔宣布于 2024 年 1 月的交易实际上导致了美国境内仅次于思科 Cisco 的第二与第三大企业级 WLAN 无线局域网供应商的合并：交易一旦达成，慧与-瞻博网络和思科两家企业就将占据该国企业级无线网络市场 70% 以上份额。
该部门表示，Juniper 的存在对 HPE 在企业 WLAN 领域的地位是一种重大威胁，这降低了大量客户的运营成本，迫使 HPE 对产品打折并投资于自身创新。
而这笔拟议交易将在该细分市场消除激烈正面竞争、提高产品价格、减少创新动力、缩减企业选择，恰恰构成了该国 1914 年《克莱顿反托拉斯法》旨在防范的威胁。
