mm2 Asia's (SGX:1B0) associated company, Cathy Cineplexes, received multiple letters of demand for unpaid rent and other associated costs, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Monday

The company has received demands from three separate entities. The first, from Management Corporation Strata Title Plan No. 20193, claims SG$47,691 in arrears and other amounts, plus SG$447 in legal costs, related to a lease at Century Square.

A larger claim, totaling SG$431,495 plus SG$447 in legal costs, has been issued by Century Square itself, covering rent arrears and other amounts for units #05-11 and #05-11A.

Cathy Cineplexes also received a letter of demand for the sum of SG$1.0 millllion and SG$1.2 million comprising rent in arrears and other amounts owed to HSBC Institutional Trust Services as trustees of Frasers Centrepoint Trust (SGX:J69U) and legal costs of SG$551.

The board is now working with all concerned parties to resolve the matter amicably.
