Centaurus Metals (ASX:CTM) said the Brazil Climate and Ecological Transformation Investment Platform selected its Jaguar nickel sulfide project as part of its platform, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The platform is intended to support Brazil's climate transition agenda.
It plans to introduce selected projects to key financial and nonfinancial stakeholders with the goal of mobilizing up to $10.8 billion.
The capital, to be provided through both equity and debt structures, will be negotiated between the relevant parties.
The firm's shares fell 5% in early trading on Monday.
