市传摩根大通的私人银行于农历年前通知私银客户，停止接受新世界(00017.HK) 股票作抵押融资，有关安排于上周二(1月28日)生效。
据悉，摩通私银客户的入场资产门槛为2,500万美元(约1.95亿港元)。就上述查询，摩通私人银行发言人表示不作评论。
上月底彭博亦引述消息透露，瑞银已停止接受新世界的部分债券及股票，作为保证金贷款(俗称孖展)的抵押品。报道又指，花旗及汇丰等私人银行部门，数月前也已停止接受新世界证券作为保证金贷款的抵押品。
