0855 GMT - Future PLC will benefit from a smooth transition by choosing Kevin Li Ying as its new CEO, Panmure Liberum analyst Johnathan Barrett writes in a note. "[This is viewed] as an excellent choice that also comes with the benefit of substantially lower transition risk," he says. Li Ying will be stepping up to the role at the end of March, on continued execution without a pause, Barrett says. As a 20-year veteran at the London-listed magazine publisher, he will have an excellent understanding of the value chain, he adds. Li Ying will also know how to assess and manage the asset portfolio and where to direct investment, the analyst says. Shares are down 1.4% at 907 pence. (najat.kantouar@wsj.com)
