富国银行在致客户的报告中称，建议在现汇参考价192位置卖出英镑/日元，目标位185.10，称市场对英国央行的降息周期和日本央行的加息周期都有所低估。

　　分析师Erik Nelson和Chidu Narayanan表示，交易止损位在196.10。

　　英国劳动力市场数据的恶化表明，英国央行的鸽派讯息倾向可以比市场目前消化的程度更大，而金融市场尚未完全消化日本央行的鹰派讯息。

　　该交易中做多日元的部分也可以对阴云笼罩的美国关税风险进行对冲，包括2月1日对加拿大和墨西哥征税的截止日期，以及随后的普遍关税及针对某个特定行业的关税行动。
