HOUSTON, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Lyondell Basell Industries LYB.N completed the shutdown of its 263,776 barrel-per-day Houston refinery, people familiar with plant operations said on Friday.
Lyondell began the shutdown of the refinery on Jan. 27. The company announced plans in 2023 to permanently shutter the plant, saying the motor fuel-producing refinery no longer fit with the company's growth into a global manufacturer of plastic pellets used to make plastic products.
