UPS is increasing its quarterly dividend to $1.64 per share.
The package-delivery company on Wednesday said its board of directors approved raising its quarterly payout to shareholders to $1.64 from $1.63 a share.
The new payout, equal to $6.56 annually, represents a yield of 5.9%, based on the company's closing price of $111.90.
The dividend will be paid on Feb. 18.
Last week, Finance Chief Brian Dykes said during the company's earnings call that UPS was planning to pay out around $5.5 billion in dividends in 2025, subject to board approval.
