Huadian Power International (HKG:1071, SHA:600027) generated total power of 222.6 million megawatt-hours in 2024, down 0.5% from a year prior, a Friday bourse filing said.
The total amount of on-grid electricity sold in the year stood at 208.5 million megawatt-hours, a decrease of 0.5% from 2023.
The slight drop in output and sales was mainly due to a rise in the installed capacity of new energy sources and better water inflow in most regions with abundant hydropower resources in the first half.
The average tariff of on-grid electricity sales for the year was roughly 511.89 yuan per megawatt-hour, according to the power producer.
