联合健康集团的股价周三一度下跌4.3%，此前Bill Ackman在X上发表的一篇后来被删除的帖子中表示，他将做空这家医疗保险公司的股票，同时对该公司的盈利能力提出质疑。

　　Ackman在帖子中写道：“如果发现该公司的盈利能力因拒绝提供医疗必要程序和病人护理而被严重夸大，我不会感到惊讶”。

　　联合健康集团在声明中说：“任何关于通常利润率在低至中个位数的健康保险公司可以超额盈利的说法都是对这个行业的结构和强大监管的无知”。
