SK Telecom (KRX:017670) joined the MIT GenAI Impact Consortium as a founding member, alongside global companies such as OpenAI, Coca-Cola, Tata Group, Analog Devices, and TWG Global.
The consortium, led by MIT faculty and Dean Anantha Chandrakasan, aims to explore the commercialization of generative AI and its societal impact, the South Korean telecommunications firm said Tuesday.
SK Telecom plans to collaborate on key research projects and share insights with its SK AI R&D Center to drive advancements in ICT, semiconductors, and energy, the release said.
