智通财经APP获悉，近日，渣打集团(02888)公布，鉴于韦浩思已接近彼服务满九年的任期，已委任现为独立非执行董事的Maria Ramos(65岁)接替韦浩思担任集团主席。待取得监管批准后，Maria 将于渣打在5月8日举行的股东周年大会后履新，而韦浩思届时将自董事会退任。Maria Ramos担任主席后，酬金为每年129.3万英镑。
据悉，Maria于2021年1月加入董事会担任独立非执行董事，并于2022年获委任为董事会风险委员会主席及高级独立董事。Maria曾担任Absa Group Limited(前称Barclays Africa Group Limited)行政总裁10年。
