春运以来，三峡——葛洲坝两坝枢纽承接东西往来船流客流周转不停。长江三峡通航管理局统计数据显示，2025年1月，三峡枢纽通过量超1370万吨，同比增长3.56%，客运量近7800人次，同比增长274.8%，均创历史新高。其中，三峡船闸通过量超1350万吨，同比增长6.13%，创历史同期之最。

三峡船闸和三峡升船机联合运行，形成“大船爬楼梯、小船坐电梯”的通航格局，在促进航运发展，降低航运成本等方面发挥重要作用。
