Dollar General Names Steve Deckard, Tracey Herrmann to New Roles

Dollar General named Steve Deckard as executive vice president of strategy and development and Tracey Herrmann as executive vice president of store operations.

Deckard was previously executive vice president of store operations and development. His new role will focus on the expansion of Dollar General's national footprint, process improvement and strategic initiatives.

Herrmann was previously senior vice president of store operations.

Dollar General, which has more than 20,000 stores across all brands, said Dec. 5 that third-quarter net sales rose 5%, to $10.2 billion. The company's brands include Popshelf, Mi Super Dollar General, DG Market and DGX.
