Embraer Executive Jets to Sell up to 182 Aircraft to Flexjet in Deal Valued at $7 Billion

Embraer S.A (ERJ) unit Embraer Executive Jets signed a deal valued at up to $7 billion with Flexjet to buy up to 182 aircraft, with options for an additional 30 aircraft, the companies said Wednesday.

The deal includes Praetor 600, Praetor 500, and Phenom 300E jets, along with service and support enhancements, the companies said.

The order is the largest in Flexjet's history and is expected to nearly double its fleet over five years, according to the joint statement.

Flexjet has taken delivery of over 150 Embraer aircraft since 2003, the companies added.

Shares of Embraer were up 7.9% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
