SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings (TYO:9412) said its satellite business unit has entered into a capital and business partnership with ArkEdge Space to advance microsatellite missions, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The collaboration aims to enhance SKY Perfect JSAT's satellite control and ground station services while supporting ArkEdge Space's development of microsatellite constellations.
Japan's largest satellite operator has allocated up to 10 billion yen for investments in space-related startups and ventures through 2030.
