Westpac Banking (ASX:WBC) has made an AU$10 million investment in legal services provider Lawpath to give its customers basic legal services for a year as part of its strategy to grow its small business lending, the Australian Financial Review reported Tuesday.
The deal will provide customers with a year-long subscription to access an archive of legal documents and business registration services, the report added. Lawpath will direct its customers to Westpac when they register.
Westpac Banking and Lawpath did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
