TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Directorate of General Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police found allegations of criminal acts of forgery of letters or forgery of authentic deeds concerning the issuance of HGB (Building Use Rights) and SHM (Certificate of Ownership Rights) certificates in the Tangerang sea fence area. This finding was obtained by the Criminal Investigation Unit through the results of the examination and case conference on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
"From the results of the case conference, we agreed to find allegations of criminal acts of forgery of letters and/or forgery of authentic deeds," said the Director of General Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Djuhandhani Raharjo Puro to the media crew at the National Police Headquarters.
Today's examination was carried out on five witnesses consisting of the ATR/BPN, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, and the Tangerang Regency Bappeda. The case conference was carried out by the main investigator and middle investigator at the Directorate of General Crimes of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police.
Djuhandhani ensured that the investigation into the case of forgery of HGB and SHM in the Tangerang waters was carried out professionally and transparently. He could not say much about the determination of the main suspect in this case because it is necessary to prioritize the principle of presumption of innocence.
"We remain in consensus. We are conducting the investigation transparently and are confident that we will eradicate this case completely and clearly," said Djuhandhani.
In addition, he also stated that the investigation into this case requires checking through a forensic laboratory because it contains a case of document falsification. The results of statements from witnesses and documents obtained by investigators will be tested until the next case title is carried out.
Investigators have not set a target time to find the suspect in this case. According to him, the investigation must be carried out flexibly based on adequate evidence and examination results before determining the suspects.
