Singtel Secures SG$643 Million Green Loan

Singapore Telecommunications' (SGX:Z74) regional data center unit, Nxera DCT, secured a five-year green loan worth SG$643 million to develop a 58MW data center in DC Tuas, Singapore, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore bourse.

The loan has been financed by DBS (SGX:D05), OCBC (SGX:O39), Standard Chartered (HKG:2888), HSBC (HKG:0005) and United Overseas Bank (SGX:U11).

Singapore's Building and Construction Authority and Infocomm Media Development Authority have also awarded DC Tuas the Green Mark Platinum certification as part of the loan criteria.
