Cyprium Metals (ASX:CYM) upgraded the mineral resource estimate for its wholly-owned Maroochydore copper-cobalt project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The updated estimate includes inferred resources of 370.8 million tonnes at 0.4% grade of copper and 227 parts-per-million (ppm) grade of cobalt for 1.6 million tonnes contained copper and 84,000 tonnes contained cobalt.
A higher-grade zone contained within the inferred resource contains 106.3 million tonnes at about 0.7% grade of copper and 308 ppm grade of cobalt for 712,000 tonnes contained copper and 33,000 tonnes contained cobalt.
The mineral resource estimate is based on 1,299 drill holes for 110,379 meters of drilling information.
