Shares of BlackSky Technology rose as the space-based intelligence company said it received a multiyear contract from EMDYN to deliver space-based imagery services to international defense customers.
The stock was up 15% to $17.48 Tuesday and is up about 59% this year.
Last week, BlackSky reported a contract of more than $100 million from a "long-term strategic partner in the international defense sector."
The company said on Jan. 16 that it was selected as one of the vendors in a $200 million project for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
