IHI Turns to Profit in Nine Months to December 2024

IHI (TYO:7013) recorded a profit attributable to owners of the parent of 76.8 billion yen for the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2024, against an attributable loss of 109.6 billion yen logged for the same period a year ago.

The company's earnings per share for the reporting period were 507.29 yen compared with a loss per share of 724.32 yen recorded a year ago, according to a Friday filing with the Tokyo Exchange.

Revenue of the heavy industry manufacturer came in at 1.150 trillion yen, 33% higher than 866.7 billion yen a year earlier.

It forecasted an attributable profit of 90 billion yen, a basic EPS of 592.46 yen, a revenue of 1.600 trillion yen, and a final dividend of 70 yen per share for the fiscal year ending March. 31.
