PARKD (ASX:PKD) signed a five-year agreement with Fielders Steel Roofing, a division of BlueScope Steel (ASX:BSL), for the licensing of the company's intellectual property rights for the division's metal decking support bracket (MDSB) and metal deck support system (MDSS), according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company grants Fielders Steel Roofing an exclusive license to manufacture, market, distribute, and sell the MDSB and MDSS connection system in Australia for a five-year term under the deal, the filing said.

The license also grants Fielders Steel Roofing the first right to negotiate international licenses for the MDSB and the complete engineered system in the US, New Zealand, Indonesia, Japan, India, and Canada, per the filing.

PARKD shares rose more than 60% in midday trade Friday and earlier reached their highest since February 2020.
