Tivan (ASX:TVN) started a maiden diamond drilling program at the lead-silver target at Aileron, within the Sandover AI project in the Northern Territory, following the execution of a land access and compensation agreement with the local pastoralist at Aileron Station, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The agreement outlines the company's exploration activities and cooperation with the station manager on site access, water usage, and minimizing country impacts, the filing said.
The drilling is being conducted by Earth AI, the company's exploration alliance partner, to assess the potential for a polymetallic mineral deposit in the area, with the initial phase to be completed within two months, per the filing.
Tivan's shares rose nearly 5% in morning trade Friday.
