On a per-share basis, the El Segundo, California-based company said it had net income of 27 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 55 cents per share.
The precious metals trading company posted revenue of $2.74 billion in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.66 billion.
A-Mark shares have increased slightly more than 3% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $28.30, a climb of slightly more than 4% in the last 12 months.
