IHH Healthcare (SGX:Q0F, KLSE:IHH) unit Northern TK Venture has raised its compensation claim against Daiichi Sankyo (TYO:4568) in the Tokyo District Court, seeking up to 199.8 billion yen from an initial 20 billion yen, according to a Thursday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
The claim relates to Northern TK Venture's stalled acquisition of Fortis Healthcare shares.
The company submitted an expert report on Feb. 6 quantifying losses under various scenarios. NTK reserves the right to amend its claim further, including legal costs.
