Resouro Strategic Metals (ASX:RAU) reported high-grade results from a drilling program at its Tiros titanium and rare earth elements project in Brazil, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It reported intercepts of six meters at 19.5% grade of titanium oxide and 4,800 parts-per-million grade of total rare earth oxides from 39 meters down-hole and seven meters at 24.5% grade of titanium oxide and 11,000 ppm grade of total rare earth oxides from 39 meters down-hole.
The program consisted of infill diamond drilling, with 39 holes drilled to a total depth of 2,519 meters. Further assays are expected in February, the filing noted.
The firm's shares rose over 7% in recent trading on Thursday.
