Old Dominion Freight Line Raises Quarterly Dividend by 7.7%

Old Dominion Freight Line's board has increased the trucking company's quarterly dividend by 7.7%, to 28 cents from 26 cents.

The new payout, equal to $1.12 a year, represents an annual yield of about 0.61%, based on Tuesday's stock price of $183.66, up from 0.57%.

The Thomasville, N.C., company on Wednesday said the new dividend is payable March 19 to shareholders of record March 5.
