Life Insurance Corporation of India's (NSE:LICI, BOM:543526) consolidated profit after tax rose to 110.09 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, against 94.7 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 17.40 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 14.97 rupees, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the insurance company.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3, however, fell to 1.073 trillion rupees from 1.174 trillion rupees a year earlier.
Shares of the company were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
