Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) confirmed the presence of high-grade gold at the Second Fortune Gold Mine in Western Australia following underground drilling activities, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Notable results include 0.42 meters at 65.44 grams per tonne grade of gold from 164.33 meters based on the results of the remaining 23 underground diamond holes drilled as part of an infill and extensional drilling program at the mine, per the filing.
The mining company's shares rose 5% in recent trade.
