CSL (ASX:CSL) reported Tuesday that its earnings per diluted share in the fiscal half rose to $4.13 from $3.92 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting an EPS of $4.24.
Revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was $8.48 billion, up from $8.05 billion in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected $8.54 billion.
The company reaffirmed its previous guidance for fiscal 2025 of revenue growth in the range of 5% to 7% and adjusted net profit after tax to be in the range of $3.2 billion to $3.3 billion. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expect EPS of $6.28 on revenue of $15.75 billion.
The board declared an interim dividend of $1.30 per share, down from the $1.19 in the previous reported period, payable on April 9 to shareholders on record as of March 11.
