Korea Electric Power (KRX:015760) subsidiary Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power exited the bidding for Slovenia's Krško nuclear power plant expansion (JEK2) due to unfavorable business conditions, Pulse News reported Friday.

A Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power official was quoted as saying that the company will instead focus on its nuclear projects in the Czech Republic but remains committed to expanding its presence in the European market, the report said.
