Apple teamed up with Alibaba (HKG:9988) to bring artificial intelligence features to iPhone users in China, South China Morning Post reported Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the deal.
The US tech firm is eyeing to use Alibaba's Qwen AI model and its "cutting edge" capabilities to make up for the absence of Apple Intelligence in iPhones in China, the report said.
South China Morning Post is owned by Alibaba.
