Green Energy Group (HKG:0979) expects a loss attributable to owners between HK$6.5 million and HK$8.5 million for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, wider than HK$4.6 million logged a year earlier, a Wednesday bourse filing said.

The renewable energy company attributed the expected increase in loss to the net loss from its renewable energy business segment, resulting from an increase in feedstock purchase costs.

The company's shares closed 4% higher on Wednesday.
