Wabtec Shares Edge Down on 4Q Sales Miss, Lower Profit

Wabtec shares edged down 5.8% in premarket trading after lower-than-expected revenue and a decline in profit in its latest quarter.

Shares were trading around $196. The stock is up about 54% over the last year.

The transport-technology company logged net income attributable to common shareholders of $212 million on sales of $2.58 billion in the fourth quarter, compared to $212 million in net income on sales of $2.53 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected sales of $2.62 billion.
