Tejon Ranch has appointed Matthew Walker as its next president and chief executive.

The real-estate development company said Walker will join the company as of March 6 as a chief operating officer, becoming president and CEO as of March 31.

Walker succeeds Gregory S. Bielli, who previously announced his retirement in March 2024.

Walker most recently worked at Los Angeles-based real estate firm Lowe Enterprises, where he serves as executive vice president.

Bielli will retire as president and CEO on March 31, and will continue to serve as an executive adviser and as a director on the Tejon Ranch board.
