2月11日，宁德时代向港交所提交上市申请，保荐人包括美银、中金、摩根大通、高盛、瑞银等。

此前外媒报道称，宁德时代预计筹资至少50亿美元 (约合人民币364亿元) ，若成功上市，这将成为近年来香港规模最大的IPO交易之一。

招股书显示，2024年前9个月，宁德时代收入2590亿元，同比下降12.09%；净利润361亿元，同比增长15.7%；毛利率25%，同比增加5.7个百分点。

根据招股书，宁德时代本次港股IPO募集的资金将重点用于海外产能扩张、国际业务拓展及境外营运资金补充，为公司长期国际化战略提供资金支持。

宁德时代表示，截至2024年6月末，公司美元及欧元外币余额分别为67.35亿美元及38.58亿欧元，难以覆盖欧洲等地动辄数十亿欧元的投资及持续的海外战略布局需求。

截至2024年9月末，宁德时代已在全球设立13个电池生产基地，覆盖中国、德国、匈牙利等多个国家和地区。

此外，2024年12月，宁德时代宣布与全球知名汽车制造商stellantis携手在西班牙设立合资公司。该工厂系宁德时代在欧洲的第三个重要电池生产基地。

2024年前9个月，宁德时代海外销售收入占比达到30.9%。
