Sony said Sunday it will give PlayStation Plus members a five-day service extension following an outage that disrupted the PlayStation Network globally, according to a post on X.
"Network services have fully recovered from an operational issue," the company said.
The outage disrupted services for about 18 hours on Friday and Saturday, leaving millions of users unable to sign in, play online games, or access the PlayStation Store, multiple media outlets reported.
