Amotiv (ASX:AOV) reported Wednesday that its earnings per diluted share from continuing operations in the fiscal first half fell to AU$0.232 from AU$0.362 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting EPS of AU$0.3847.
Underlying EPS was AU$0.359, compared with AU$0.364 a year earlier.
Revenue for the six months to Dec. 31, 2024, was AU$503.7 million, up from AU$492.6 million in the same period last year. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$509 million.
The automotive products and services holdings company expects growth in fiscal-year group revenue and underlying earnings before interest, tax, and amortization to be driven by a "slightly stronger H2 skew." Cash conversion is expected to be around 85%.
The board declared an interim dividend of AU$0.185 per share, unchanged from the previous reported period, payable on March 7 to shareholders on record as of Feb. 24.
