【美国需求挤压印度黄金供应，租赁利率升至纪录高位】金十数据2月11日讯，有业内官员向路透社表示，印度的黄金租赁利率在一个月内翻了一番，至纪录高位，此前海外市场的黄金租赁利率跳升，因全球银行将黄金转移至美国，导致供应紧张。在这个全球第二大黄金消费国，租赁利率上涨推高了珠宝生产成本，并可能挤压Titan、Kalyan Jewellers和Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri等珠宝商的利润率。Kotak Mahindra Bank总裁兼业务主管Shekhar Bhandari表示，传统上徘徊在1.5%至3%左右的黄金租赁利率在一个月内上涨了一倍多，并可能进一步上涨。他说：“考虑到地缘政治的不确定性、贸易战以及CME期货价格较现货价格上涨带来的好处，未来几个月租赁利率似乎将保持高位。”
