Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) said Monday it signed a letter of intent with France's Commissariat a lenergie atomique et aux energies alternatives to collaborate on developing advanced technologies for AI computing.
The company said the partnership would create energy-efficient systems to support AI workloads in industries such as energy and medicine.
The collaboration will focus on the next-generation AI compute infrastructure, and the two organizations are also planning a symposium in 2025 to bring together European stakeholders and global experts to discuss emerging AI technologies, it added.
